Adding chip, cold air intake, Need advice!!
I'm upgrading my 2008 f350, 6.4 turbo diesel and would like some suggestions for performance chips, cold air intake, exhaust, shocks/air bags and gooseneck hitches. I'm sick of the bad gas mileage. I have plenty of power. When I first bought the truck it was getting 15-17 city and 19-23 hwy. took it to Ford for service, the reset my computer and now I get 12... All the time. I'm getting a bigger horse trailer and want to make sure I'm prepared. Taking my truck for a tranny flush before I start modifying. Any suggestion on products you've tried would be great. I want to stay around $350/ per item, lol... Thanks!!

DPF-R from Gearbox Z may do you some good. You can get a no HP increase tune that just deletes the regen stuff.
I would not suggest running much HP unless you stud it. But you can run factory power with the foot to the floor all day long.

I was using a SuperChips programmer, but after doing an EGR delete and some other mods, I switched to an SCT tuner. The SCT has way more options for common mods and can also store up to three custom tunes that you can get from various sources. I haven't done anything with the intake on my truck yet, as I'm a bit concerned about the dusty air we have here in Colorado.
