Holy ****...I also have no tickets or accidents. I have the good student discount ad well
Yep, I'm on my own policy so I can't get the good student discount. They only allow that if you're on your parents' plan. That one didn't make too much sense to me but whatever. I've got the multipolicy discount as well, a 97 F150 and the bundled home policy. The F150 is an extra 60 a month on top of the 212.
I just found out that my company has a 15% discount with a insurance company that I'll be switching to when my home policy expires (I paid in full when I bought the house so I can't switch now).

I keep telling myself I'll keep this truck for 10 years, but I probably won't make it that far.
Keep your truck Miles. Pay it off and keep some money in your pocket. The electrical issue SUCKS, but it can and will be fixed at some point. Pay it off and then you can laugh at all the guys like me with huge payments.
As you might be able to tell from my sig, I've been sorta in the same boat. I told myself that my F250 would be my last for at least five years, but then I fell in love with rock crawling and tried to get a Jeep. Haha the bank shut that one down and so I'm back to my truck. But it'll be paid off in a year so I'm just going to stick with it. Debt and payments suck Miles so I say get the truck fixed and pay it off. Plus you've already done the mods that I can't afford yet so it should be easy. (And I'm using your build thread for the lift as a guide for mine)
Again just keep it, it has head studs and updated cooler or deletes right? And the HPOP is a go or no thing. But you have miles on the truck now so it looks like you have a good one. I'd just take the water superstar apart and make sure it's completely clean and always change the fuel filters..... Pay it off and enjoy the extra money and drive her till she quits
I bought my first truck at 19, kept her for 13 years. Every year I would buy a little something for her. Ranging From a lift to actually a full paint job ( I liked the ford splash yellow, early 90's I believe) This way it never looked the same.
After that, I never kept a vehicle for over 3 years! But, by that point in time I was settled and financially stable.
Figured i should update this...for those of you who haven't seen me posting elsewhere, i do still have my truck. Running pretty well so i have no intentions of selling it. Also, i did get that job i was applying for and talking about earlier. I start tomorrow
Yeah i thought i had mentioned the whole deal with the new job in here but apparently not...not really sure where i posted that. Anyways, i started today as a lineman intern/apprentice for connecticut light and power, big company in CT
