f350 front diff excursion front diff

so i my front diff went bad in my 03 superduty 3:73 gears
i have an excursion sittin here we have been parting out...it also has 3:73 gears in it

i curious as if it will work or not
the excursion doesnt have an axle code on the door but the tag says its a 373 limited slip

The VIN will indicate which axle was installed in the factory.

Excursion has a D50 solid front axle, IIRC with a 9" ring gear, but the D60 in the F350 is a 9.75" ring gear.

good info...i can tear these 6liters apart and put them back together with my eyes closed....but as far as knowing anything about the suspension stuff i'm in lala land

The solid D50 is a ******* axle, only put in F250s from 99-01/02ish, and the Excursions.

Edit: HA ok fine FTE don't take a joke, it's an "illegitimate child" axle.
