If it's an F250 or F350 single rear wheel then you have a Ford/Visteon 10.5" ring gear axle. If it's an F350 dual rear wheel then it's a Dana 80 with 11.25" ring gear.
Pinion size? Did you mean the ratio? The pinion is a 1.94" and 31 spline type (as far as I can tell from the books). The ratio can be determined a couple of ways. The first is the door compliance label, look under the "AXLE" section in the lower right hand corner of the label. there will be a two character code. two numbers is an open diff, a letter and a number is a limited slip type. C1 for example is a 3.73 with limited slip. C2 is 4.10 LS, C3 is 4.30 LS. 31, 32, and 33 are 3.73, 4.10 and 4.30 open diff. There's a tag on the right side of the diff cover that has that info as well. My tag for example reads:
3V 425F
3 L 73 10 5 3E06
The first line has the plant code and axle type and revision. In this case, 3V is the Sterling Heights, Michigan Visteon axle plant, and it's a 425 revision F axle. (10.5" full floating axle.)
The second line has the ratio with or without an L that indicates Limited Slip, the ring gear diameter and the manufacturing date. In this case, I have a 3L73 which is 3.73:1 ratio with limited slip. The second number is 10 5 which is a 10.5" ring gear diameter and last is the date code of 3E06 which means May 6th, 2003.
