Don't have an under bed tank. Currently a fuel cell in the bed. The plan is to get rid of the fuel cell and run only an in cab tank.

ok, well, behind the seat there should be an orange wire for the fuel sender and a hole with a grommet init for the metal fuel line, where the metal line will go through far enough to connect to your rubber fuel line.

It just happens I have my incab fuel tank out right now for cleaning and resealing, along with the pipe and a new sending unit. If you like, I could take some pics and send them to you if you think it would be of any help.

It is hard to see in this photo (Not near the truck right now) But on my 67 f250 camper special ranger. it has a factory under the bed fuel tank. And the hole is in the cab for the in the cab fuel tank but has a factory rubber plug. OE part number can still be seen on the plug inside the cab.

Thanks for the replies. But all I really need to know is if I need a vented gas cap with no evap system, and what I need to do about a pickup tube for the tank.

Well, on my 70 F250 2WD with both an incab tank and a factory underbed tank, the in cab tank has a regular gas cap, not vented.

As far as the fuel pickup, I will include a link to a few pics, seems the pickup is inside the tank, and the steel pipe that leads to the fuel line attaches to the top of the tank. If you look closely to the pic of the hole where the fuel sender goes in, you can see the fuel pickup inside the tank.

First 2 pics in the link are the outside fuel pickup tube and the inner tank pickup tube, which you can clearly see from looking in the tank sender hole.

Hope this helps.

Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a ton! And sorry if I wasn't clear in my request. Looks like I'm in the market for a new fuel line as the but that attaches mine to the tank is too large.
