ok, i was driving down the highway today, and rubbed my throat with my hand, and noticed a lump in my throat, well, above my adam's apple by about an inch. its about a third of the size of a marble. ive never noticed it before, it doesnt hurt unless i touch it a bit too hard. im 20 years old, in excellent shape, dont smoke, no drugs, but i drink on weekends. i dont have health insurance, so i might be S.O.L.
i have a similar lump in my stomache, you cant see it but you can feel it, doctor sai it was just a skin cyst. nothing to worry about, hasnt grown, been there for 5 years.
so is the lump in my throat something everyone might have, like for part of your tounge, or do you think i have a problem?
Even lacking health insurance, I would recommend a trip to the Dr. to have it checked. It could be a benign cyst, but it could be cancerous. And some cancers grow rapidly if untreated.
Your life isn't worth the money you might save by not seeing the doctor.
And all your friends here at FTE would miss you!
