Trying to replace a leaking hose ...I snapped off the plastic spout on the bottom of the resevoir...I would hope someome can send me a Link to which tool I need to Buy to remove the pulley and install it..... as now I have to replace the pump......I have some pullers but probably NOT the one I need ...Thanks In advance....
Friendly Local Auto Parts Store. Advance, AutoZtoned, etc. They "lend" out tools like pullers, spring compressors, etc. You put down a deposit or leave your CC#, but in the end it's free.
For what it's worth, the HF tool worked like a charm on my vac pump. I figure if I get 4-5 uses out of it among all the trucks, it'll pay for itself.
OK well here they lend out Garbage hoping you break it and have to pay for it...I would rather Buy it...thanks again...what about the OTC tools I listed ? which one is ok ?
Ok guys..I bought the tool today @ Canadian Tire... looks small compared to what I thought it would be but I was assured it is similar to the KD / OTC tool in a fancy little case...it was 56 bucks with taxes and Lifetime warranty...Now I have to figure out how to use it and go from there....thanks alot
Thank God for a couple days of above freezing temps......
Aside form that , I finally got the beatch back together .....as of 5 Minutes ago ...No leaks......not bad for a pump that was in hibernation....for 15 years.....the most difficult part was optimizing the Tool....NO ROOM in a Van with the PSD..
Thanks to everyone for thier Input.....
