Return Fuel Line

Hey guys do you know if you can rig the return line so the fuel can return back to the rear gas tank, rite now my truck is a 89 ford f250 and im having problems with the fuel reservoir/valve and its returning the fuel to the side tank or how i can plug the two lines that go to the side tank till i can get the funds to buy a whole new reservoir/valve cause them suckers cost like 250 bucks or so. ANY tips on how to rig this some how is greatly appreciated

I think you would basically have to bypass the whole valve. Blocking off the lines to the side tank and splicing the splicing the lines in front of the valve to the rear tank.
