My '59 came without a spare tire or tire rack, so when I saw a rack for sale, I bought it. It came with two long bolts, one has a slight bend in one end.
My question is, how does this thing mount to the underside of the frame? Anyone have any photos? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, on the wheels -- I have a set of hubcaps from a '61-64 series. The dog dish hub caps with the rings that mount on the inside, not the outside of the wheel hub. I need a set of wheels with the "innie tabs" to be able to use them. Anyone know where I can scrounge a set of these wheels?
