I haven't bought anything yet, still mulling it around. There are many great choices and the way our winters seem to be changing here in SE Virginia, it may take me a bit longer to decide. I still have 6/32's of tread so I have plenty of time.

Tim,

Ah ha. Keep checking around. Several of the tire manufacturers are running rebate offers. I got $80 MIR for the Coopers I just picked up. If you have a Ford Service charge card, you could see what the local dealer could do on price. My local dealer matched and took off even more. See what happens.

i know you said you knew where you wanted to buy your tires, but i just noticed that discount tire direct has the same $80 rebate and a $25 internet discount on the cooper's.

with the discounts available, you can get a set of 4 AT3's for $123.52 (each) shipped to your door. ($494.08 total)

that's tough to beat!

if i wasn't 7 different kinds of up-side-down right now, i'd have a set sitting in my garage waiting for next winter.

I realized after I bought my Coopers that there was an $80 MIR offering. Well an $80 Visa card, but to me $80 is $80 no matter what form it comes in. Well worth the time to fill out the form, copy the receipt and mail off. Think I may buy a new set of spark plugs when that card comes in to replace the ones I re gapped that was off from the factory.
