Electric steering?
I don't know if this has already been discussed. Has anybody tried electric steering in their truck? I've seen the electra-steer conversions online, and they seem to be effective; but, really expensive. There are electric columns on ebay, from various cars, all the time. Are these columns self-contained--can they just be wired in and then used--or, are they hooked to a computer? If they are just wired in with a power lead and ground; even a dummy like me could adapt one to my stock column.
