Including Genuine Ford if you can. In the 37 years I've been selling Ford Parts at various dealers I can't tell you how many dozens of times I've sold a starter, alternator,ETC. to someone who got tired of warranteeing a Spray and Pray. You get what you pay for.
Sorry you had trouble Pinch.
Yea it is a concern especially when I plan on driving this a lot. Someone told me to look into a mini starter to get something of quality.

True story. That would still be available from Ford. PM me if you want a price. Would need to know A/T or M/T since I don't remember which you are using. BTW, they are a starter mounted solenoid style. Either you can run a wire from the factory starter relay down to it or Ford had come out with an adaptor kit. It's part number was F2PZ11K162A. It had a wirew, terminal cover, instruction sheet,4-straps,and a nut. I can supply that also.
