return line relacement

Replaced my return lines and o-rings today and now the damn things are leaking worse than before. I pulled the old ones off and slide the news ones on lubricating them with diesel from the old lines. Used a replacement kit. Cant figure it out, do the o-rings need to swell little to seat.

I like to use grease to lubricate the O-rings, I think the thickness of it helps seal a little better. Did you push the caps down until you heard them pop into place?

Figured the problem out. I initially pushed down till I heard pop, problem was the caps still were not on enough. Took a 9/16 socket and pushed down on top of cap body with that and it popped again and bottom of cap was seated on injector body, than I knew they were on all the way. No leaks that I could find. thanks for response.
