Cabin Hatch Removal

Is there something else hold the cabin hatch (doghouse) in place? I've unsnapped 3 latches but it still refuses to come loose.

try looking under the center dash trim, (below the ashtray and the cubby cavity), there's a black box for the anti-lock brake system held by two 8mm nuts, and also if you remove the cupholder mounted to the floor it helps it to come off easier.

There are only 3 latches, and once you unlatch them, the cover should at least come loose. If not, it's probably glued to the seal, and will take some gentle prying. If you have a floor shifter, you need to put that into low 1 gear to make space for it to come out. I usually pull the lower edge up and back a little so its upper part will clear the bottom of the dash.
