lower, center dash removal

lower, center dash removal

i have a hands free phone base that was in my pick up when i bought it. it is just the left of the pull out cup holders, in center of lower dash area.

i can't seem to find where, or which screws to remove first. i am continually cutting my hand on it and ready to remove it.

i stopped by the local dealer around lunch and they wouldn't tell me which to remove, but they would gladly do it for me...

any thoughts? i cant find any pics of dash removal

you have to remove trash hook and the cup holder. pull the cup holder out and there will be 4 screws. they are hard to see but if you lay down and look up under it you will see them. then there are some screws hidden by the upper dash piece. you will have to pop that out (snaps in). finally there are a few screws all the way at the bottom.

I take it you don't have the aux switches or the pop out junk box?

shawn0 i do have aux switches, don't know or cant think off the top of my what what the "pop out junk box is"

it's the storage box just below the aux switches and TBC. if you have a manual transmission i don't think it's there.

If he does have that box couldn't he just take that out and have easy access to it?
