Still not running yet.... taking this afternoon off as well to work on it. I need a truck this weekend. If I can't get it going tonight, I'll need to take another break working on it and barrow a truck because I have a list of other stuff I need to get done before this weekend.

On a side note, I will have an extra set of inter-cooler tubes for a Cummins conversion if anyone's interested. I bought a kit with a bunch of random intercooler tubes to figure out my plumbing and have enough left for another set.

Well as Murphy's law would have it, I got the truck put back together last night but there's a couple things holding me back from it being done. The exhaust v-band I have is just a hair to large and the batteries need to be charged up. I got the air bled out of the injector lines and got it cranked a little with a few puffs of smoke, but the batteries weren't quite up to the task. Unfortunately, I have other priorities for the rest of this week so the trucks going to have to sit for awhile even-though it's soo close to being drivable.

Here's my simple passenger side CAC tube route. It's a lot simpler than what DCS recommends.

That engine looks like that is where it belongs. It just looks right. Now I know why so many ppl swap the Cummins in. Nice Job.

I can't wait for this to be done. I had to barrow my in-law's 2013 F-150 V8 to pull my enclosed trailer this weekend. Got a whopping 9.3mpg average over almost 700 miles of interstate... definitely miss my diesel! I've got another 220mile trip this coming weekend too...

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem.

I've verified I've got 13psi of fuel going to the injection pump, I also cracked the injectors lines one at a time and cranked until fuel shot out. I'm wondering if I didn't get something put back right in the injection pump when I put in the new governor spring...

It's definitely trying to start, but not quite there.

A 6.0 would have started by now...

I would check pump timing to make sure it is correct.

I'm going to double check the pump is indexed right and try it again.

Sounds good Kert. From the vid it looked like you had fuel, just not at the right time.... Start at the beginning and double check.
