Where's Your Tach?
I would like to get an idea of where to mount my tach.

Please post a pic of where you mounted yours.

I had a small mini tack hanging down below the dash bit it was a bit hard to see at the track. I mounted this old Dixco tach up on the dash. I fabbed a bracket that used the screw for the defroster ducts

I did the same thing, used the wiper screw tho.

In my '54 it's in the dash:



In my '56 it was on the dash in the left corner.

Not bad, it's got very little wind resistance.
