I want to put mine in the left corner on top of the dash close to the windshield but I havent figured out how I want to do it yet. In the mean time I just mounted it in the center under the dash and this location has kinda grown on me. Im fine with it where its at now.
I am installing one soon as well and I plan on putting it where the vent is on the drivers side.
The PO put a temp gauge in the cluster where the left vent goes above the headlight and wiper switch. The plan is to remove it and replace it with a tach.
Mine is on the corner of the dash right now, but I'm fixing to have to move it since after all these years I finally found a dash pad to put back on it.
I plan to put gauges including a tach in a pillar post mount.
Easy to see and out of the way and no holes anywhere that
can't be changed right back to the factory cover.
I didn't really need much either with my C6 tranny so opted to put it in the dash where you see many others have put differnt gages. Oil and Temp are mounted where the ash tray was.
