water pump wooooo's
Was getting the old truck out today getting ready for vacation, and notice a spot on the garage floor that made me nerves, put a piece of cardboard under the truck and in 2-3 min I had a puddle the size of a pizza pan looked a little closer and thought the hose was leaking, but no it wasnt, it was comeing close to the engine the hose's were fine. My question does anyone know what a water pump cost with labor installed, I know this is hard question but I would like to know if we are going to vacation in the back 40 trying to convince ourselfs that it is yellowstone. its a 96 ford powerstroke with 112K miles:hat:

The water pump itself should be under $100. Probably closer to $50 or $60. Labor is another story. It takes a special tool to remove the fan I have heard. I have never done one myself on a Power Stroke. I would say that you are probably looking in the neighborhood of $300. This is just a guess though.
