PATS module Fried? Need help finding a replacement

I have a 2003 Excursion Eddie Bauer 7.3l that I just bought two weeks ago. I bought the vehicle with the Bully Dog GT Tuner already installed. In my excitement with the truck I had BD help me install the update and in the process they sent me a faulty update file, and the truck will not start and is locked in theft mode. It has been at an independent diesel shop for the last week, and they have a ton of time into it, and have it narrowed down to a fried PATS module. Problem is they are on national back order from Ford until March 10, 2014. They have called almost every salvage yard, and can't find a used one either.

Here is where I am surprised and impressed with BD. They offered to pay for the tow, and are paying to have it fixed. This is the best customer service I have ever received, and I am proud to say I have their emblems on the side of my truck.

Does anyone have a PATS module laying around you would part with, or a suggestion of where to get one? I can't be without my Ex for over a month, it's the only car I have.

BD even offered to put in a remote start system, thinking that would bypass the PATS module and allow my truck to start. But the diesel shop said it won't work because they have to communicate with the module to program a remote start system.

Thank you for your help in advance !!

When all this happened did you try to set it back to the stock setting?

I was playing around with my tuner the other day and while re-programming it I encountered a problem where a parameter was out of Ex's computer range.
It totally shut me down, I got lucky and was able (with the tuner) to reprogram back to factory (stock) setting and it restarted. Don't know if you tried re flashing your computer by ford. I'm a 6.0 don't know if that makes a difference.

Yeah, tuned it back to stock, no luck. The PATS module is confirmed fried by Ford diesel tech.
