Jeeze, and I thought it was just me that could hardle see a difference. Now, instead of one great big ugly hole now it's one great big hole divided into three smaller ugly holes. I can't see that it seems to be worth $50 to do that but to each their own. I can recall seeing the first of these trucks and thought that the owner had taken a grill or something out of that area. I've had the part on my '13, FX now for over a month. In person it looks 100% better than the previous huge hole. Totally worth the $49 over the counter.
I'm the same way with leveling kits and huge tires. I guess beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Truthfully, there is still a huge hole there but it does look finished with the bumper insert.

I guess FORD is saying you can put something there but nothing too restrictive..to me 2 small bars isn't the greatest but it is better than a big gaping hole ,,the 1 thing I hated about the EB front end..Maybe they will start allow a better grill to finish off the look..
My grill showed up at the dealer this morning. The guy from Tasca was correct, the clips are breaking and mine was no exception. The right side clips were both broken. The left side was intact. The issue is, the grill is packaged and shipped in a plastic bag and the clips are vulnerable.
However, no worries. I took the part anyway. The clips are more for positioning than mounting. The actual mounting hardware is included and you can see that from the picks that Nasty and MCDavis posted. 5 minutes and I was finished and it's secure.
I can't find my wife's digital cam now but I'll get pics later. It looks great and really cleans that ugly unfinished hole up nicely.

Can you still mount it securely with the clips broken?
I tried to order one from the Ford Dealer in Charlotte, NC and they told me not to put anything in that hole.It was left there for a reason and if the engineers thought it needed any protection, they would have put a grill there. Don't shoot the messenger, thats just what i was told.
