check engine light
On my 1988 F-150 5.0 auto-trans "damn old Ford" has a surging problem, when you give it a little gas the " check engine light" goes out, when you let off the gas, it comes on. At times it will not pull in OD and feels very weak, then at times it feels strong.
It seems to run better after about 30 miles, but then it will idle up some,if you shut it off, and restart it, it will idle fine, what do you think?
