Hello,
My father and I are purchasing a 1992-95 F150 2wd and putting a 460 or 351 cleavor in the truck. We will be running a carb on the truck. What we need help with is knowing what to do with the computer and the wiring. Thanks
Anyways a Clevor is a waste of money. The aftermarket has heads that will far outflow any Cleveland head nowadays. And you don't have to get a special Clevor intake, headers, and I believe it requires machine work to cap off some water jackets on the Cleveland heads so they won't be pissing coolant while it's running. Better off building a windsor with some nice AFR's or Trickflows.
The project is going to be a muscle truck, esentually. The cleavor was an idea, but the 460 is the first choice.
And we weren't sure if we even needed the computer in it. I have not found any info online. It will be a gradual build.
