Alright guys I have a problem. Still in the works of getting a A&E to get the codes, but this may be one you guys can help without it. Been going on for a while but seems to be getting worse.
Everything runs fine, but on occasion the throttle quits working. It will keep idling, but no response from the throttle pedal. Then after about a second the service engine light flashes, then the throttle pedal works again.
Reading on here, to me it sounds like the TPS. What do you guys think?
Thats what I was thinking. Now where do I get one? Looking at the local chain stores around here they have the plug with wires connected for a faulty connector, but not the actual TPS. And reading on other post, some you have to replace the entire pedal assembly, how do I know which is mine?
You are welcome. They have different versions depending on what year truck you have, if I recall correctly. Here are a few that Summit carries. I am pretty sure you can find a better price from somewhere else.
