After closer inspection of the area, I found the EBPV is leaking. For a minute I thought cool, its just oil burning off something and not exhaust from the up pipes. WRONG. With a mirror and a flashlight I found soot around both pipes. So, EBPV rebuild and new up pipes. I was going to take the turbo off anyway after looking in there, its way too tight. I also have a coolant leak from the lower pipe at the pump. O-ring I guess. There goes my 08 mirrors and gauges budget. Oh well, it needs to be mechanically correct before it gets extras.
Do I need any type of gasket or donut for the pipes to the manifolds? I'll be soaking all the exhaust nuts/bolts with Kroil all week. I have a garage lined up at a friends to get the job done next Saturday.
List of parts needed: (?)
Up pipes
turbo O-rings
EBPV kit
intake boots
lower cooling pipe O-ring
