Intercooler Questions?

Hey everybody got few questions on an intercooler installation. The truck is a 1978 f-250 4x4, 6.9, typ4 torque cam, and banks sidewinder. I have a aluminum superduty intercooler. Does it matter what way the air goes through it? As in what side is the inlet or outlet? Also what size do you recommend for the piping to and from the intercooler? Should i just run the same size as the outlets or is there a benefit to use a smaller or larger diameter? Thanks.

Same size piping as the intercooler, so you don't get restrictions, but as for which way the air flows, it doesn't matter.

The Inlet and Outlet is 3.25"... That's un-necessary....

I have 3" on my setup, and its probably overkill, but works well.

Really depends on the fuel being run and what overall goals are...

For most with a DB2 pump, 2.5" will be fine.
