fuel pump problem

Hey guys looking for help my 79 bronco 351m was acting up would idle fine but cut out when I got to road speed I assumed it was fuel pump bought a new one put new see through fuel filters on I got fuel before pump but but none at the filter by carb I blew in vent hose with small compresser to pressure the tank to prime pump is it possible to miss the cam lobe ive done chevs before but not a ford am I missing something

Well I switched to electric pump today and it works I don't know if the eccentric is pooched but this works great
