Wiring Question
Hi everyone. I am little embarrassed that I have to ask this question.
It has been a while since I have put any radios in to a mid 1990s fords so in my old age, I am forgetting how I used to do it in the late 80s early 90s.
I am putting an alpine in my 95 f250. My harness from metra (70-1770) has a dimmer wire and an illumination wire and my Alpine harness has an illumination wire. The description from alpine is making me think that the illumination wire really acts as a dimmer but I am not sure.
Which wire (dimmer ground or illumination) on the metra harness goes to the illumination wire on the alpine harness?
