I have a 1995 Ford F150 with Automatic Hubs. I need to convert to manual lockout hubs. I have access to a set of hubs along with everything inside the hubs. A set of Spicer from a 1979 F150. Are they compatible with my 95?
You need a kit that will convert it from auto hubs to manual lock outs. the used lock outs you have should work as long as its from a dana 44 and use the kit from Warn to convert your axle to manual hubs. There is a tread floating around somewhere on here that has all the instructions including pictures.

I still need to use the conversion kit, even though I have everything out of the hubs from the 79? I have the axle nuts, springs, the whole 9 yards.
You only need the conversion kit if you have auto hubs with caps that are held in with 3 screws. If you have 5 screw caps, you do NOT need this kit.
That being said, all that's in the kit is the old style spindle nuts, lock rings, and lock nuts. If you have the entire setup with all the parts from the 79, you should be good to go without buying the conversion kit, since you got all the parts already.
