New Truck! Recommendations?
Hey guys I just traded in my 05 F150 for an 02 F250 7.3. I'm on here to see what you guys recommend as a good direction to head for mods. It already has gauges and an intake. What's next? What are some mandatory things to take care of for longevity? Any input is appreciated!

If you want to modify it and maintain the longevity, stick to mild mods and don't take it to the drag strip. Quick launches and high RPMs can turn a solid motor into scrap iron. That goes for pretty much anything, but diesels tend to be a little more expensive to fix afterwards. On off the shelf programmer will make a world of difference on it's own. Then start with the basic bolt-on's. Cold air intake, exhaust, compressor wheel. Things you can do in a few hours. Once you start getting into performance injectors you will want to get a more custom tune. I'm running DP-Tuner and i'm pretty happy with it.
