Post Sandblast pics 64 frame

Got my frame back from the blaster. Will pick up my cab, hood and drive-shaft this afternoon. Wow, 50 years can put a lot of crap on a truck... what a difference! Got it in the back room of my shop, ready to tackle that gas tank relocation (as time permits, that is)!

Looks great! I hope you are going to tear down your rear end and get all of the sand out, otherwise your bearings and gears won't live long. Same for kingpins and front bearings..

Looks like a clean job from here. I agree, will have to tear down the moving parts. Sure makes it easier for transport with the wheels on though!

You Betcha! I have 2 identical rear ends... best one gets rebuilt. All new king pins, ball joints, drag link, etc. Just got my rebuilt steering box back from Redhead.
