They would de-arch a lot and be very springy.

This is exactly what I was hoping to find when joining this site! Thanks everyone for the advise and expertise. I'm by no means mechanically challenged but knowing some of the minuscule details going into a project saves a lot of time and even more importantly.....saves money! I can see me becoming a paying member so I can take full advantage of all FTE has to offer and also so I can post some pix of my swap. Thanks again!

We are tearing the donor down and gathering all the parts and pieces including the suspension then setting the SD in a snow bank out back because I'm sure something will get missed. Sooooo.....short story long.....I'll have the SD springs ready to go in.

Yup, I defiantly should've read first! I also found the v-10 to 7.3 swap which is going to be extremely helpful BUT a major majority of the pictures won't load. I'll have to do some playing with the settings on my PC and see if that's the problem. Thanks for pointing the threads out to me Stewart!!
