Front springs

I'm trying to figure out if my stock springs will work. I'm doing a v-10 to diesel swap in my Excursion. I know that a 7.3 weighs appx 498# more than a 6.8 v-10. Will 500 extra lbs squat the front end badly? Also I don't know if the 500# weight difference was with or without fluids? Thanks for any help I can get!

Why don't you just order the springs that Ford placed under the diesel Excursions? Everything thing else should be able to hold up.
