I had the same experience Ed. Now when it's not fulfilled by Amazon I usually take my business elsewhere, unless it's something petty and/or cheap.
The Motorcraft BT-50 came in today from Amazon. Well packaged, free shipping and got here in 4 days. Overall a pretty good experience as usual for anyone interested.
We actually have a Napa tensioner on the shelf at our shop. I might give that one a shot just for kicks as Shake and Bake says it's holding up well and keep the MC as a spare.

Tyler I went with the Gates tensioner pulley but I wish I would have gone with the BT-50 because the BT-50 has that little arm that when you take tension off the belt you can lock the tensioner pulley in the open position which makes getting the belt back on alot easier. The Gates doesn't have that feature and I have to hold the tensioner open and fight to get the belt on with one hand.
And like you said about if sold by Amazon shipping is fast and free. Oh yea No tax unless it ships from the state you live in.
Yes... I did notice that the Napa tensioner doesn't have the little arm on the bottom. I haven't used the arm on my current unit, but mainly because I believe it's broken off. I'll try the Gates and if I struggle even the slightest bit I'll probably rip it back off in favor of the MC. I appreciate the heads up!
