Torque Specs

Can some one refresh my memory on what the torque spec is on the dummy plugs and stand pipes, I had them written down and I cant find them, also the torque specs on the rocker boxes as well.

I thought there was a spec sheet in the tech folder but I couldn't find that either...maybe Im fried

Thanks,

Sarge

Thanks,

My mind is blank lately. I have an 05 in the shop and the customer is pretty much having me rebuild and bullet proof the whole thing. All the parts have started to come in all at once and my mind went on vacation.

Thanks Again,

Sarge

60 ft-lbs. for the dummy rail plugs and standpipes. 23 ft-lbs. for all bolts on the rocker arm carriers with a 10mm head size. All nine high pressure oil rail TX-30 fasteners are 8 ft-lbs.

M-Chan,

I thought it was 60 ft-lbs but wanted to make sure.

My Mechanic said they bumped up to 28 on the injector hold downs, Oil Rail is 120 In lbs. = 10 ft. lbs and 12 ft lbs on the valve covers. Good luck on the ones next to the heater box.
