Why do the A arms need to be changed ? They are not part of the lift.
The ball joints are cranked almost 100% sideways. I seen a kit a while back on ebay that came with them but now i cannot find it anymore.
Plus, the alignment shop "did their best" to correct the camber so that the tires arent tilted too much toward the truck, but i noticed that the inside of the tires are wearing a lot. I installed the cam bolts and the dude still couldnt correct it.
That is not the fault of the A frame. You need a lift kit, or different spindles. NOT A frames. If the ball joints are worn out, thats different, you need to replace. but "new A-frames for a lift" are not a solution.
Okay I know what your talking about. Do you know what kit was used for the lift or brand name IE DJM,Fabtech,Belltech The same goes with lowering a truck I had a Chisholm Suspension under the truck when a drunk person drove down my street and plowed into my drivers side front end and bent my lower a frame well to make a long story short the body shop couldn't buy replacement lower A frames because Chisholm went out of business so they bought DJM lower A frames well Chisholm kicked they're lower ball joint so you wouldn't have a alignment problem. DJM on the 4" 6" drop they kicked their upper A frame ball joint. So yes you need to replace the upper A frame with the same brand. I took me a while to figure out what was going on, on my because the same thing the upper ball joint was in a hell of a angle and nobody could get the tire to tilt out after researching found out that you have to have matched control Arms
There is a set of cst replacement upper arms on craigslist inland empire in Cali. They're ballpoint. U can search for a replacement with a uniball as we'll cst used to make them but they no longer do.
