Hub Assembly Question
Has anyone ever tried rebuilding one of these. I have an 05 F250 and just replaced one of the hub assemblies. Now that the new one is on I decided to tear into the old one. The smaller axle bearing pressed out with no problems and appears to be easily replaceable. However, the part that failed is a second 5" +/- large roller/needle (pencil size) style bearing that's on the inner side of the assembly. Can this be removed with a large hydraulic press? If I can get that roller/needle style bearing out I can start researching weather the parts are replaceable.
