Gas Mileage
Hello i am currently in the market for a diesel Ford excursion, i have found one for a very great prize under 150K, but i wanted to know about the Gas mileage and tank size for the 2003 year model if anyone can help need info quick please......

Tank size on my 6.0 is 44 gallons, combined avg 14.4mpg

To the OP: You will get horrible "gas" mileage because you will be calculating "fuel" mileage.
44 gallon tank
YMMV City 12-14, Hwy 16-20

Stock my 6.0 averaged 14mpg city maintaining 45-50 mph, 16 mpg combined, and 18 mpg all highway maintaining 65-70mph.
Gearhead tuned, it averaged 15-16 mpg city, 17-18 mpg combined, and 19-20 mpg freeway. This is with an EGR delete, a 4 inch exhaust, and no other mods.

What tune are you running from Gearhead? I just bought an SCT and I am looking for tune reports. Also are you running stock size tires/lift?
