Injector problems?
99 F350 227,000 mi. Replaced fuel filter a week ago. Black in color and hard to blow through. It had lost almost all power and barely made it home. Low on fuel I waited to buy from diffrent location in case I got bad fuel from last station. Lost power again and would die like it ran out of fuel. Put 4 gallons in it, started it and made it home again just barely. Changed fuel filter again and it helped some but still won't idle very good and it very rough running. Have I picked up debris in tank or plugged injectors? Can anybody help?

In this case, the (black) filter and the fact that it seems clogged, might point to an algae problem. The tank needs to be cleaned or it will continue to clog both the fuel filter and the screens in the pick up/mixing chamber in the tank. Its a good time to do the Hutch mod, or intank mods that you can read up on by doing a search. Just one possability that came to mind. DanV's is another.
