Fuel Filter 'Flow'

Kind of a stupid question. When I last changed my fuel filter I filled the new one with Diesel Kleen and put the rest into the tank. Would the additive in the filter find its way to the injectors or should I just use fresh fuel, as usual?

The majority will go to the injectors. The rest will get returned to the tank.

That won't be a problem. I did the same with ATF. I think alot of us use cleaners like that from time to time.
