So here is my issue. I removed my HPOP to replace all the O-rings. Removed pump and cleaned up while I had it out. After I replaced all the o-rings put everything back. This is where I ran into an issue while putting the pump back In I found that one of the bolts that secure the pump was not tightening. I pulled the bolt back out and found a helicoil was on the bolt. It was no longer tight in the bolt hole so I have no idea what to do. I do not want to develop another leak. Should I tap it out and put the next size bolt or another helicoil. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Making the hole larger, even enough for new threads could put you closer to a cavity or area inside the pump or weaken a mounting point and cause you more issues.
Try the heli-coil again as CG mentioned. If you do go with making the hole larger, plan for a replacement just in case.

So as I said the bolt is not tightening so my question Is will a major oil leak from the back of the pump make the truck run bad. As if getting no power under load And I am getting code p0246 any thoughts

So put the scanner on the truck. EBP sensor is reading 43 psi at idle KOEO or driving volt never changes from .1 in any condition. MAP reading 14 psi so looks like I am getting a EBP SENSOR.
EBP 43 PSI at idle? Cleaning it can't hurt, but brace for new one.
I bought a new one was going to pick it up this morning but the truck will not go over 5 mph even if I floor it, I do not think a EBP sensor would cause this any thoughts
Is the ebp reading with a cold engine. Could make a difference. Also check the ebp tube. Make sure it's not plugged.
got in the truck this morning to take kid to school still had scanner hooked up and it was reading good but the truck would not go over 5 mph. Voltd dropped back down to .1 and the pressure went to 43 I am stumped both my trucks are down.
Check the EBP valve. It could be stuck closed. If it is, unhook the linkage and wire it open.
Well it seems it was the valve got it unstuck and replaced the EBP sensor truck is running great. Going to fix hpop leak and hopefully she will be good. Thanks for all the help to everyone great site
Well I thought I would post the outcome of the issues I was having. So the first issue was the EBP sensor was reading bad as well as the valve being stuck. After that was fixed I had to reinstall a new helicoil witch stopped the truck from leaking.
Truck still had drivability issues and had no throttle response so I had to dig a little deeper. I had less than a year ago bought a new OEM ICP as well as a new IPR. Never thought either would go bad again well I was wrong with the truck on the scanner my ipr was jumping from 14 % to up in the mid 20s icp was jumping as well. I still had the original IPR that I replaced so I took apart and cleaned it (THERE IS A GOOD WRITE ON HERE ON HOW TO DISASSEMBLE AND REBUILD)
Well that did the trick I have gone over 100 miles and truck is running like a champ. Thanks for all the great help I received from this site.
