On the EZCool are you supposed to glue that down with something or just lay it on the floor? Also how would you do the doors with it? If the doors are even possible.
Yea, glue it down up sideways with spray adhesive. I was gonna take my door panels off and glue some to the inside of the outside panel. That way the air in the door will further insulate the heat transfer.
Just finished using the fatmat on my truck. Haven't driven it yet so I don't know about road noise yet. went on super easy and had no problem with the install
I bought 100 sq ft. on ebay for 149.99. I only used 50 sq ft. and sold the other to a friend. I think I should have kept it since now I'm short for the roof and the inside of the doors.
My dad and I used the foam padding used under carpets to insulate the doors on an 05 ford crown Vic. Cut down on road noise a whole lot (it was a cop car, the plastic door panels and empty door shells let a lot of noise through). I picked up a bunch out of a flooring store dumpster, plan on using it on the roof and behind the door panels of my trucks

I used an off brand dyna mat under all the carpeting, inside the doors, and above the headliner on my 69 Ford and it made a HUGE difference. You can actually hold a conversation now without yelling at eachother. :P
I have used Fat Mat with great success in multiple applications,
As far as spray adhesive I just make friends with the local upholstery shop and take a 1 gallon paint can in get it filled for 30 bucks and use an old siphon feed gun with a 2.0 tip.
All the spray adhesive I have found in a can is not holding up to what I need ( mainly haedliners and A and B pillar vinyl trim)
