Hi everyone-
I'm new to this forum and have been reading up on some common problems with 6.0 powerstrokes. I decided to flush my cooling system with restore and restore plus this weekend and install a coolant filter. In the process I busted the small return nipple that runs to the degas bottle. I tried to epoxy it back in place with no luck so, I put a stainless screw in the opening to complete the flush. My question is can I bypass this and run it straight off of my coolant filter to the degas bottle? Is there a hollow fitting that can be screwed into the opening to create a new return overflow? Trying to finish up today. Any help would be great - Thanks
