Weird electrical gremlins
I was driving along the other day and my radio went quiet. Looked down and it was off. Weird. Punched the power button and the radio display said "Low Battery" and nothing else happened. Weird. Hit it a couple more times, and the same. Then the ABS warning light came on. Oh crap. So I said to myself, time to head for home and hope I get there. 10 seconds later, the radio comes on, the ABS light goes out and all is well. Truck restarts several times that day and the next.
Clearly the battery is fine (2-3 yrs old). Has anyone dealt with this type failure and found a cause? I am in the middle of building our house and really do not have time to do the electrical search that I expect it will take to fin d this unless someone has an idea where it might be. Tracing electrical faults is always time consuming.
