Radio problems?
1993 Ford Aerostar 3.0L, RWD, Standard Length, Automatic Transmission:
Ok, kind of a long setup, but here it goes. On the way back from a trip, I was having some trouble with the van. The lights would get dim, then the voltage would slowly drop and the amp light came on. Pretty good indicator that the alternator was going. So this was replaced. As was the battery. Here's the problem: After replacing the alternator and driving it home, the radio did not work. I had a few problems with the battery terminal clamp slipping off (corroded bolt), and one of the times I put it back on, the radio came back on. I took the battery in for a test a few days later, and sure enough, it was going bad too. So I replaced it. Now the radio does not work again. Anyone have an idea of what this could be?
