There seems to be like 4 or more different grills to chose from, so I don't know what you are talking about.
I was looking at the "press release" photos. It is something about that grill. Now with the choice of 3 other grills, it might not be so bad. Hell when I bought my 2011, I thought the current gen Super Dutys were a bit much with the over the top chrome. However, I had so many people come up to me in parking lots and say " wow that truck looks like it means business..." or "nice truck" that it changed my my mind. One of friends said he liked the front end of the Super Duty over his RAM 2500 which is the same model year, 2011.
Can we agree that Ford builds the Superduty and the F-150 for similar but different needs? Can we agree that they both have fantastic and less popular styling cues? Can we agree that they all cost way too much? And can we finally agree that all this hype is exactly what Ford wants?
Now lets behave and act like mature adults.
IMHO, the front end of the FX4 pictured above is just butt ugly. Then again, I'm not a fan of the STX or FX trucks anyway. I like at least a little chrome. Some chrome accents inside the black grill would be pretty cool.
Looking through all the pictures I could find, I think you can find similarities with each other brand. I found that it depends on the color of the truck and what trim level. Some look quite nice, some look odd, some look like a mistake. There will be something for everyone.
New truck is still ugly! As far as insults, go back to page one..RollerStud dropped the first insult. Then look at all of our post counts and realize that YOU spend your life trying to be right on the internet. Did the EBay headlights make that 03' pull harder? BTW a camper is not a workout for a SD.. Im headed to my shop to drop my plow. I think I'll get one of my cars out and do some doughnuts(help keep my ego in check).
My "insult" was an opinion, not calling other posters morons. Should look in the mirror though as your reading comprehension skills are lacking, missed the part about not working but playing. Work was hauling dump trailers loaded with gravel. No headlights didn't help with pulling just looked nicer than t03 stock lights.
Or do you think because I never mounted a plow I actually don't really understand what "working" is? Now you bring post counts into it, how inadequate do you feel on here?
It is pretty hard to came up with something new when it comes to design but still i like what we will be getting for new F150. It can always be better but lets go step by step...
nice looking truck but like every new generation it will grow on you just like all the others .For the grill i read they have motorized dampers to help with engine temp controls are the dampers behind the grill or is the gill that shifts for open to close that be kind of neet and very diffrent from Toy Toy.

Some vehicles do grow on me, and some take a lot longer than others to do so. The 2015 F-150 probably won't grow on me, though. If the grill and headlights were squared off a little better, and that silly body-colored chunk cutting into the headlights disappeared, it would look a lot better. Of course, even if those changes were made, Ford probably wouldn't sell me one equipped how I'd want it.
