The ***** look custom to me, might be from another vehicle or a hot rod catalog.
By 3 holes do you mean the 3 big holes? F700 and up offered mechanical tachs, vacuum gauge, and air pressure gauge when equipped with air brakes. That is what would go in the holes at the ends. Those big holes on the ends are in the right places, but bigger than the stock holes. Today, you could put anything you wanted there on a pickup.

He's right, all the ones I've seen have been air pressure, speedo, tach. I'm not sure if the holes are bigger than stock, hard to tell from the pictures. The other difference is that the gauges from big trucks have real oil/alt gauges(like yours does) not just idiot lights. Here's a couple pics I've found online.
