F-600 Carb?

F-600 Carb?
This truck has a D8TE AJA Carb and it runs way too rich. I want to purchase a new or rebuilt carb but do not know what to purchase. I cannot find one when searching that number. Can anyone tell me what to look for. I have tried a rebuild kit, but know it was incomplete and it did not solve the problem - I just want a complete working carb.

What kind of truck do you have? I have a 75 f500 with a 330, carb was bad, I put a new holley 500 cfm 2v carb on it with a manual choke. works great, the carbs I have seen on these trucks are very similar to the holley. I got mine from summit racing for a good price, just make sure not to get the race carb, has no choke, they sent me one by accident.

Thanks, will follow that up. Truck is a 78 F600 that I believe started out as a flat bed, but now is a dump. I do not know what size engine it has, and do not know how to determine it. Maybe from the VIN?
