Went to the dealer to look around and see what options and packages I like. I am looking to buy in the next month or two. When speaking to a salesman he said the 2014 don't have much discount. He said maybe $3000 including the rebates off the msrp. I didn't say anything because I wasn't ready to buy. Just wondering how much discount people are getting off?
Still a lot of 13's on the lots that is why '14s aren't offering much yet. You would be far ahead buying a 13 or waiting several months, especially when the '15s start to come out.
I've been looking lately and 13's are running around $7K-$9K off MSRP 14s won't be anywhere near that good.

I doubt you can get much more than that right now on a 14' with so many 13' still for sale. I just a brand new 2013 fx4 crew cab loaded for $11,500 off msrp. That is with all of the rebates, incentives from Ford and the dealer discount.
I am sure I can get $10,000 for a 2013. I am about a month away from buying. being it will be February I would prefer a 2014. I didn't see too many 2013 on the lot in my area. When the time comes they will need to come down more then $3000 total for me to buy.
If they're not volume discounting, the X Plan can get you a decent price.
It ends up right around invoice and restricts the amount they can charge
for the paper work to, I think, $100.
If they are offering the huge, get rid of inventory discounts, those should beat the X plan.
Also, don't miss out on the $750 coupon they call bonus cash.
I bought a truck a couple of years ago, and still get those coupons in the mail from
Ford.
If you're not familiar with any of this, check the forum's archives. It's
been discussed quite a bit.
Just bought a 2013 F150 a month ago, and I got approx $12,000 down from MSRP, I think it was about $9,250 is what they were offering off, the other $2750 was from other rebates. Same deal for me the salesguy said on a 2014 I would see about $3000 off, vs the $9250.
Probably good to get a 2013 since there is no real difference between the 2014. unless you really need a 2014, wait till the 2015's come out.
Does the warranty start when you buy it or the year the truck was built? If I buy a 2013 in 2014 do I lose a year from the 3/36,000 warranty??? So will have really have 2 year/ 36,000
Simple.......ask to see what the invoice is and go a little below that.
Example:
Sticker = 45,330........Invoice on that is 41,773....save right there $3557....not counting incentives and other discounts.
You should be able to get at least a few more hundred below invoice.
