7.3 characteristics changed
Hi Super Duty Brothers. Since the accident, the '00 SD Lariat 7.3 4x4 sc, sb at, 3.73 has some characteristics that have changed;
Starting: It used to be just a bump. Now it's turning over many times before it catches. It also has blue smoke at the start, which does go away. However, it did not do this before.
Steering: I've searched and searched, and can't find anything about this, but my column does not lock anymore. Does this mean a replacement? It seems to steer straight ok, but I have junk tires on the front for now.
I've been on a parts round up, and some are starting to arrive. Still have not decided to go with the '03-'04 Front end or the '05-'07.
My rims could use an upgrade. I tow my 10-12k lb boat.
Paint brand? I've used both PPG and Dupont. any further suggestions? Black over Harvest gold.
